Applying Tibet Travel Permit

March 23, 2019

When I was working  as  travel corespondent  I feel a confusion for the Tibet visa  procedure Love to share some following points for this Visa procedure. Actually, Tibet Visa is one of the most sensitive case for Traveler. You after reading this blogs, it will add extra boost up knowledge for your Visa procedure.

Tibet is part of  China, fully control by government of China.

Before applying  Tibet Travel Permit (TTP), please be clear with following points:
*First things often traveler confusion with Tibet visa or permit. It is a permit not a visa, calling Tibet Travel Permit will be sound good.
*Your passport must be valid at least valid  for six months and nine months for multiple visa.
*Only a Tibet Tourism Bureau has authority to issue a TTP
*One cannot apply with out any travel agencies

If you are processing Tibet Travel Permit by yourself, get apply of China visa  and then you can process for TTP by yourself but Tibet Travel agency must be hired to process your Tibet Travel Permit. You must purchase a tour program from travel agency. You must submit your scan copy of your passport and your Chinese visa. after finding agency who is doing tour, sent copy of Chinese visa and passport to the agency. Tour operator will apply for the permit and  then wait for permit. Only they are permitted to to sent mail to a domestic address in China and deliver permit to hotels and before boarding to their destination.

Note: you must have your itinerary while applying for Tibet permit mentioning all your destination you will visit. Lets make you clear by example one travelling to Lhasa  from Xining and ends at Xining, you must  have clear travelling route. Where to start and where to end and route must be clear.

Note: Another point is finding a reliable travel agency for Tibet permit, finding a reliable travel agency will extra point for getting a Tibet travel permit.
