Protected Areas of Nepal: Key Facts and Features

According to Economic Survey 2022/23, Until the mid-March of 2022, there are 12 national parks, 1 wildlife reserve, 1 hunting reserve, and 6 conservation areas, totaling 20 protected areas in Nepal constitution 23.4% of the total land area of Nepal.


Oldest National Park (NP) - Chitwan NP (952.63 sq km)- 2030 BS

Largest NP - Shey Phoksundo NP - 2040 BS - 3555 sq km;

Nagarjun Hill Hiking

Nagarjun Hill ( Vindya Mountian) popular point of Hindus sites. From this point you can see the scenic and tranquil reviving view of Kathmandu Valley.

Hike from Nagarjun Gate  to the Top of Nagarju Hill, often will pass out with the stone steps, dry leaves, greenery vegetation and birds calling. It will also be suitable for your family day hike. So, enjoy the hike.

Gautama Buddha Birthplace Some Rare Photos In Lumbini

Lumbini (The birthplace of Gautama Buddha) a Buddhist pilgrimage site take us back to the 563 BCE. The lord Buddha achieved Enlightenment at around the 528 BCE and start journey of sharing knowledge to world. 
My friend and his team was there for excavation in Lumbini for almost for 30 days for this research paper. He had share some of his photo with me and share only photo which are not prohibited.
